CASE STUDY:
The Financial Brand Forum 2017
Ultraviolet Events was thrilled to partner with The Financial Brand for their annual FORUM event in May 2017. Ultraviolet provided complete event production including audio, lighting, HD video projection, LED walls, complete crew and local labor, video editing and custom content. The event was held at the Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas in the Gracia Ballroom - a room that has a ceiling that is just under 11' and four large columns that fall near the centers of each bank of rooms. Ultraviolet was up to the design challenge and provided a custom semi circular stage supported with four HD video screens and three LED walls. Sight lines were good for all of the 1,500+ attendees. Hotel staff noted that it was the largest General Session ever attempted in that space.
May 2017 Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. Ultraviolet provided show design, show management, audio visual AV equipment, audio, lighting, video and labor.
This event was held in the Gracia Ballroom at the Cosmopolitan for over 1,500 attendees.
Curved Center LED wall was around 11'x20' and ran almost floor-to-ceiling. It was used primarily for animated custom backgrounds.
The room posed some challenges for a General Session of this size (+1,500 attendees) with ceilings just under 12' and four large pillars positioned in the center of the rooms.
Ultraviolet designed a set that featured a semi-circular stage, four HD Projection screens and three LED walls for maximum visibility in the wide, shallow room.
Smaller side LEDs were used for backgrounds and IMAG. The portrait style orientation made for a more engaging look on the camera show and added flexibility for content on the main projection screens.
The hotel told us that it was the largest GS ever attempted in that space.
Despite the challenge of the pillars, there wasn't really a bad seat in the house, every attendee had a direct sight line to a screen and LED or stage.
Center LED was used for background images and branding and supported with custom made 3d foam core branding on stage.
